Rescue:

There is a beautiful golf/trailer park resort in the country not far from town which has a motel
across the road from it. The woman who manages the motel has been feeding the strays
there for quite some time. Every year as the season comes to a close she notices a few new
cats living out by the dumpsters. When the campers leave an abundance of food and scraps
are left behind, and so are the cats, no one ever offered one of them a home. Because the
cats are not spayed or neutered there are a couple of litters of kittens born and the feline
population grows. The cats are fed and there is a warm shelter for them during the winter. But
they are still subjected to the dangers of cars, and in particular the big garbage trucks that
come in to pick up the dumpsters, and of course wild life predators. A number of people
frequenting the park reached out for help for these little cats and soon Panda and Penelope
and some of their colony mates were rescued.

Personality:

Panda and Penelope are a beautiful bonded pair. Panda is the spokesperson and has a
sweet little meow and is very cute. Penelope is a little quieter but has an adventurous nature
and was the first of her little feline family to explore the house. Both are very active and like to
play with all kinds of toys, especially balls of yarn, wand toys and anything that rolls or bounces.
They are snuggly kittens and like to curl up in your arms to be carried around or for a little cat
nap. Panda can be quite communicative and will let his foster mom know that the cat food
bowl needs to be topped up. Very cute. Panda and Penelope are ready to be adopted into
their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
