Rescue:

This little fella, Webster, was found in a couple’s back garden which backs onto a local children’s
park, sniffing around for food and trying to find shelter under their deck. He just
strolled up to the house confidently but appeared to be pretty shy when approached by the
people. Webster was encouraged to come closer to them once offered food because he was so
very hungry. He began to trust them and over the next few days he took to lounging on their
patio furniture, enjoying the soft cushions and the people talking gently to him. Once a spot
was available for him with Pet Patrol, they rescued him with a humane trap so as not to
frighten him further. Such a lovely little cat with not much history to be told. Was he part of a
litter born outside? did he wander away from his original owners?…we will never know, but he
is safe now and ready for adoption.

Personality:

When Webster first arrived at the sanctuary, he was a bit timid, but every day he progressed
with the attention and affection he received from our volunteers. In his foster home, once he
felt comfortable, he started coming for pets and cuddles. He is playful and active, loves the
cat tree and watching out the window from the top perch. He can often be found sleeping in the
little house mid way up the tree. He is a playful kitten, liking the cat tunnel, stalking and chasing
after balls that bounce or have a bell in them. He is also big fan of the wand toy. Webster
is pretty funny and will sometimes be found running around in circles chasing himself! He is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.,
