Rescue:
A woman who lives in a small village on a nice sized property often gets cats migrating from
her neighbours farm. It is not a traditional farm in some ways though. The barn has horses
and a few chickens, but the land itself is just a very large parking lot for many abandoned
trailers, sheds, vehicles and clutter. The cats on that property are fed, but not cared for in
any other way, so they breed rapidly and there are many feral cats and kittens running
around. Often they will migrate to this woman’s unused chicken coop or work shop to have
their kittens. It is safer and away from other animals that may prey on them. Little Sunny
made his way to her property as well, as a teenage kitten (6-9 months old), curious and
wanting attention. She took note of him immediately as most of the cats don’t want human
attention. Sunny is very sweet
Personality:
This little guy can be a bit wary when first approached, but soon as soon as he gets used to
his surroundings he is quite playful. He likes to be pet and cuddled, to have a nice head
scratch and belly rub. He has been quite happy at the sanctuary with all the toys, climbers
and people to give him attention. Sunny has a very sweet personality and you can’t help
but gravitate towards him. He is good with adults and very comfortable with other cats as
well as that is all he has known. Sunny is ready to be adopted into his forever home with a
playmate. A home that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
