Rescue:
Picasso is a lucky cat. He was homeless and although friendly no one would take him under
their wing except for one woman. While at a neighbourhood sales event and before his rescuer
ever saw him in person she saw little paw prints that he had left all over a vendor’s clean
white table cloth. Everyone in the neighborhood knew who he was as he had been wandering
around for a while. He was a homeless black kitten who had spent weeks prowling the ‘hood,
relying on his charm and wits for food and shelter. His black fur with subtle stripes makes
excellent camouflage, so he is especially adept at sneaking around and would make an excellent
undercover operative. His rescuer, having already adopted a cat from Pet Patrol, knew
how important it is to bring these poor cats into care, and not leave them on the street. She
brought him into her home for safe keeping until there was room at the sanctuary.
Personality:
Picasso is a very adventurous cat who has no fear and can be a bit mischievous as well. He
is a very sweet cat with a big personality and a love of play. He knows how great it is to be
pet, brushed, carried and has cuddling down pat. Toys are something he is familiar with and
has tested them all out in his foster home. The view from the windows is entertaining and he
doesn’t seem to have any interest in being outside anymore. Been there, done that! Picasso
is an adorable cat, ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into
the family and keep him safely indoors.
