Hope

Rescue:

Hope and her brother Peanuts were both adopted through a smaller cat rescue organization
up north. They have been in operation for many years and often have far more kittens coming
in from barn situations and off the street than some of our local cat rescues. Pet Patrol receives
many of the cats from there to help find forever homes for them. Hope and Peanuts had
been adopted through this northern rescue by a wonderful family with children. Being outgoing
and friendly cats, they did extremely well. The busy family life suited them, and with many
children comes different personalities. One child would screech loudly when upset and unfortunately
for Peanuts this was overwhelming and he became very upset. It was just not the right
home for him although he was much loved and cared for. Since he and Hope are very bonded
the family chose to rehome them together. With many tears, they knew they were doing the
right thing for the cats by keeping them together.

Personality:

Hope is a very sweet little cat who makes herself at home in a very short period of time. She
loves to be cuddled and held, liking to curl up with you on the couch and at bedtime. Having
lived with other cats before, she has integrated into the sanctuary well. As a playful cat she
has tested out all the toys, and likes to climb the kitty tree, play Peek a Boo in the tunnel and
pounce on wiggly toys. Watching the neighbours, birds and traffic is quite amusing to her, and
she often snoozes on the wide window sills. Hope is a lovely cat who will be good company
and a nice added addition to any home. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home,
hopefully with her brother Peanuts. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors
