Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who lives out of town. She runs a cat rescue
organization there and had received calls from three different people about a colony of approximately
thirty five cats on one property, mostly kittens. The cats were fed and had fresh water,
but shelter was at a minimum and the environment was treacherous for kittens. She had sent
out notices to about forty different rescues to see if some could help, just taking a few cats
here and there makes a big difference. None of the local rescues or city shelters were able to
help her at that time. Pet Patrol was able to take in four kittens, and this woman organized a
relay along the 401 to meet rescue volunteers to transport the cats to their new shelters. She
had at least five stops on her journey which is extremely time consuming and dedicated.
Koodos to her. All the kittens were fairly social but happy little cats. There was also a pregnant
female who gave birth within a weeks’ time and had …. lovely kittens! All are doing well in
their foster homes, happy and healthy and ready for their forever families.

Personality:

Tobias and Toula are two are very friendly and affectionate kittens. Tobias is a chatty boy who
likes to tell you lots of stories and is finding his voice. He is very sweet and loving and is always
ready for a belly rub. Toula is very curious and friendly, follows Tobias’ lead regarding
people but enjoys having pets and to snuggle quietly in your lap. She is very smart, figuring out
all her cat toys right away. They are very bonded and will spend the day playing together with
their toys and cuddling together as well. The cat tree, kitty tunnel and even a cardboard box
with peep holes in it will instill their curiosity and entertain them. They are great kittens. Tobias
and Toula are ready to be adopted into their forever home together. One that will welcome
them into the family and keep them safely indoors
