Rescue:

Woody was a very sad sight when he arrived at the sanctuary. A woman had reported that she
heard him crying loudly along a walking trail. This is just a path through a wooded area with a
small pond on one side and many trees and bushes. She couldn’t find him; he was so tiny and
he would go quiet as soon as she tried to approach him. Only using the flashlight on her cell
phone, she stayed put for a while but eventually had to go home as it was late in the evening.
She arrived back first thing the next morning and he was still there, and this time made himself
more visible. Woody was enticed into the carrier by food and he walked right in. He was
covered in fleas, had a slight eye infection and was very dirty. He was very frightened of people
but only for about an hour or so, and then he settled in after having a nice warm bath, flea
treatment and lots of good food. He was very happy to be placed with a nursing mom

Personality:

Woody and Ozzy are both very playful kittens who love to chase after the spring toy as it skitters
across the floor. They can find fun in everything. Their favourite place to view their world
is from the cat tree, looking out the window and also taking in the activities of the household.
Ozzy is a gentle soul and enjoys cuddles and pets. Woody is spunky and athletic. They
balance each other perfectly and can be found cuddled up in the softest bed or best sun
beam. Woody and Ozzy are a bonded pair and would like to be adopted together into their
forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep
the safely indoors
