Rescue:

Baby and Lucy were much loved cats in their owner’s home. They were well taken care of
and well fed. A bit too much maybe, but they could still groom themselves and gently play.
One day the woman was not feeling well and test results revealed that she was very ill and
with much thought she felt she could not take care of her house any longer . She just had
to concentrate on taking care of herself and ‘her girls’ so they moved into an apartment.
She was there for a number of years and fighting to extend her life with as much medical
care and treatments as she could. Her cats, Baby and Lucy were constant companions
and helped her start each day with a smile. They gave her strength to carry on. She would
not leave her cats behind when her condition worsened and resisted moving until her friend
said she would take the girls into her home, even though she was allergic. “Any further
information on Baby and Lucy, other than they are wonderful, well adjusted pets has gone
with their owners mind”. Sad for the woman and sad for the cats.

Personality:

These two calico girls are beautiful, curious and affectionate. They love to be pet and
brushed and spend time curled up together watching out the window. Lucy is a curious
goof who likes belly rubs and Baby enjoys curling up on the softest blankets and fluffiest
pillows for her mid-day naps. They like to be in the same room as their people and will be
good company on the couch while you watch TV or read. Both girls came into Pet Patrol
care needing to shed a few pounds but have displayed energy, playfulness and enjoy
chasing balls, stuffed mice and the laser pointer. Baby and Lucy are ready to be adopted
into their forever home together. One that will welcome them into the family and keep
them safely indoors
