Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a call in regards to this pretty little cat, Zema. She had been adopted into
a family home, by first time cat owners, when she was very tiny. She was born into a neighbour’s
home where they had not had their cat fixed. As this kitty grew up the family was able to
get her vaccinations done but did not have her spayed. And they allowed her to be an indoor/
outdoor cat. Nature would obviously take its course. (Even though you don’t see male cats
roaming the neighbourhood they can smell a female in heat on the wind, and can travel up to 5
miles a day looking for a mate) In a few short weeks it became very obvious that Zema was
pregnant, meanwhile the mom in the home developed health issues and was becoming allergic
to this pretty cat. The family was asking Pet Patrol to take her into our care and six days after she went into a foster home, she gave birth to her kittens
Personality:
From their foster mom: These six little buddies love to wrestle like they are in the WWF then
after a good round and a romp they cuddle up in a pile for a long rest. They are climbing experts
and it didn’t take them long to become King Kong on top of the cat post. Once they climb
down they all go wild chasing a wand toy. Sitting on the floor with them they will quickly come
to you and it’s a bundle of kittens happily snuggling on your lap. Zappa is the gentle quiet
brother in a house full of sisters. He has a lot of energy to run back and forth after a mousey
toy and keeps up to them easily. He is adorable and ready to be adopted into his forever
home. One that will keep him safely indoors and welcome him into the family.
