Rescue:

Kalan was a little firecracker when he arrived. He was found in a neighbourhood where there
were a number of stray cats wandering around. No one seemed to know where they came
from, but the homes border on farm land so he may have come from a barn. It is unclear if
they were fed by anyone, but they took refuge in one backyard that was fully fenced and provided
a sense of safety. By the shape that Kalan was in when he came into Pet Patrol care,
after being humanely trapped, it appears that he had very little to support himself while on the
street. His fur was badly matted, ruffled, dull and full of dirt and twigs. He was extremely hungry
and thirsty and appreciated the endless amount of food and fresh water. He was not sure
about people when he first came into our care but has settled in nicely.

Personality:

Kalan is a very snuggly cat. He will sit with you, snuggled in with a blanket for a movie or
comedy marathon, purring sweetly and dozing off. He also has a playful side and likes to
chase after toys that crinkle or bounce, and the feather wand toy is a great toy to swat at. As a
handsome orange tabby he will take some time to warm up to new people, but after a while,
with lots of pets and cuddles he will begin to show more of his endearing personality. Kalan is
fine as an only cat or with another kitty that will show him affection. He is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
