Rescue:
Living in a town that is surrounded by farmland and a population of people who do things the traditional way, there are sheds for the horse and buggies to park in. In one of these buildings two little gray cats were noticed running around. This would be Quincy and Quinlea. Small cats who were quickly rescued when smelly cat food was put in an humane trap. Both cats were quite terrified when they first came in but it didn’t take long for us to be able to pet them as they showed no aggression in anyway, not even a growl. Soon Quinlea and Quincy were ready to go to foster homes where they’re wonderful gentle personalities can come out and their trust for people encouraged.
Personality:
Quincy can be a shy kitty and will take a while to warm up to his people, but when he does he’s your shadow. Very cute. He is super curious about what you’re doing and would do well with someone who is looking for a second kitty. He’s quite food motivated so that is when he likes to get brushed, picked up and pet. He has a little piece of toast in the morning and likes his afternoon wet food. He is very good at playing with other cats and is very nice / not too rough. Quincy has made such good progress in his foster home, and continues to show his sweet personality with someone who is patient and willing to let him figure things out at his own pace. Quincy is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
