Rescue:
There is a woman who lives in a small village, who has been taking in cats from her neighbours’
over populated property for years. They wander over to her empty chicken coop to
safely have their kittens. From there she rescues them, has them spayed/neutered and finds
them homes or brings them to Pet Patrol. The farm has always been in pretty rough shape
but is now doing better under new ownership. The cats are now looked after, and most are
fixed and not producing unwanted kittens anymore. then the woman she received a call
from the neighbour across the road. This is a traditional farm where things are done the old
fashioned way and the man said he had just too many cats on the property and would she
be interested in helping rehome them. He introduced her Orlando, who was quite timid to
start with but has come along nicely with his socializing in our care.
Personality:
Orlando is the coolest cat, has a wonderful personality, is intelligent and has a beautiful
coat. He follows his foster mom and dad everywhere in the condo, all day long, he is extremely
curious and must investigate everything. As an active cat he loves to chase the
laser light, crinkle balls, toy mice, wand toys and playing with cardboard toilet paper rolls.
Fosters have cut the bottom out of paper grocery bags and made little tunnels for him which
he thinks is the best thing ever. He is entertaining and frequently is found reclining in a bathroom
sink or lying in the shower stall. Orlando also chases his tail. Although he is very
dedicated to his people this nice boy prefers not to be held or picked up just yet. But he is
famous for his head butts and asking for attention and petting. Your patience will be more
than rewarded if you welcome Orlando into your home. He is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
