Rescue:
Kotton is one of many cats that shows up at a property in a trailer park annually. Earlier this
year one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers rescued a young feline family with the same markings as
Kotton. Mostly white with grey or black patches. They all came in frightened, but they all
turned out to be lovely and affectionate cats and have all been successfully adopted into
their forever homes. Kotton showed up on her Trail Cam, coming to her feeding station and
cat shelter late at night. He never stayed long and finally they discovered where he was
sleeping, under a nearby trailer home. Problem was, the opening where he was getting
through was very small and right along the driveway. Within a few days the driveway was
going to be dug up and then a cement pad put down. Kotton would be sealed in under the
trailer, with no way to get out. Luckily, he was successfully rescued just days before the
construction. Both the owner of the trailer and his rescuer were relieved.
Personality:
Kotton is a cat that was not sure of people at all in the beginning. He is very good with the
other cats; he’s relaxed in his environment and lays right out in the open. He likes relaxing in
the sun beam streaming through the window, or sprawled out in his favourite bed. He is
easy to pet, scratch his head and rub his ears. He is interested in a home that is adults only,
has experience with shy cats, and time and patience to work with him. Lots of love and
attention, petting and playing, which will result in many purrs and kneading paws. Kotton is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors
