Rescue:
Julia came from a farm property where there were just too many cats. The cats were able
to have proper shelter and were fed, but they were exposed to the weather, heat, cold,
wind and dampness from rainy days. Last year a rescue organization was helping with
taking in some of the kittens and getting the momma cat spayed and the boys neutered.
Just to keep things under control. Julia somehow missed the first round of rescues and the
farmer decided she could stay but things have changed since then. We are heading into
another breeding season and he really wanted Julia to be in a safer environment where she
would not get pregnant and would be able to have a family to love her. It was sad to see her
go; they were quite attached to her on the farm. But they were happy that she would have a
better future.
Personality:
Julia is quite a little sweetie and initially we thought she was a kitten. She is very dainty,
gentle and kind. She is quite comfortable with other cats and with children as well and would
be happy to be laying across your lap watching a good movie. She will sleep at the end of
the bed and cuddle up with you at night as well. Toys were quite a mystery to her but she’s
learned rather quickly and especially interactive toys like the wand, laser pen light, or playing
catch the ball down the hall. She is very sweet and kind. Julia is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
