Rescue:

Sweet Pea is an adorable cat. She is very accepting, and it seemed unusual for her to be in
a barn. But the people there really did like their cats and took good care of them. There
were just too many. This was a dairy farm so there were lots of cows, a hayloft, and large
machinery. The farmer decided it was time for Sweet Pea to go to a new home because
she was always producing kittens. Many, many litters over the years. Sometimes as many
as 12-18 kittens in one year. It was becoming impossible to keep up with finding them
homes. Discovering a cat rescue organization and that said they would take the mom &
kittens; it was with a heavy heart they decided Sweet Pea needed a chance at a new life.
Having her spayed and the costs associated that was not in their budget

Personality:

Told by her foster mom: Sweet Pea is doing great. She is a very sweet cat and super
playful! She has regained her happy go lucky personality and I have watched her play with
a mouse toy for about 15 min straight! She doesn’t seem to respond much to noise like the
vacuum or a sudden bang. Although she can be a little timid about venturing further into the
main floor from upstairs. She enjoys taking naps in our son’s bed. She also loves pets but
does not sit on our laps yet. Overall a very cute and friendly cat.
