Rescue:

Montel, Morty, and Monroe, were born into a growing colony behind a young woman’s workplace.
As soon as she began seeing kittens, she became worried about the dangerous environment
surrounding them—a busy four lane highway in front, train tracks behind, and businesses filled with
dumpsters, storage bins, and abandoned equipment on either side. With Pet Patrol’s help, she
began trapping the kittens one by one. Timid little Monty was the first to be rescued, while his
siblings disappeared for nearly a week, leaving everyone worried. Thankfully, they eventually
returned to the feeding station and were safely rescued too. The three kittens could finally leave
their dangerous beginnings behind and come into Pet Patrol’s care.

Personality:

Morty is a gentle, easygoing tabby who is curious about the world around him and happily explores
every corner of the house. He loves having other cats to keep him company and can often be found
wrestling with the foster kittens or chasing them through the house in a lively game of tag. Once
playtime is over, Morty is perfectly content stretching out on the couch or curling up in a cozy
basket for a nap. Catch him when he’s sleepy and he’ll happily soak up some pets while his
wonderfully loud, rumbling purr fills the room. Morty is an easy little guy to have around, equally
content entertaining himself or finding a feline friend for some fun. He would do best in a calm
home without young children and will need another friendly cat to play and spend time with. Morty
is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
