Rescue:

Twinkie and her siblings came from a property about an hour and a half from the sanctuary where
an elderly couple had become overwhelmed with cats and had 16 kittens needing help. The
property had become rundown, and with so many kittens to care for, they were thin and needed
more support than could be provided there. A smaller rescue stepped in to help, and Twinkie and
four of her siblings came into Pet Patrol’s care. Despite being underweight, they were wonderfully
friendly from the start. With good nutrition, veterinary care, and a safe place to grow, they quickly
became happy, healthy little cats.

Personality:

Twinkie is a little sweetheart who seems genuinely delighted with her new life. She loves being
cared for and is wonderfully easy to pick up for a cuddle, happily accepting all the affection that
comes her way. With her health restored, Twinkie has plenty of time for the important business of
being a kitten—playing with toys, exploring everything around her, and racing about having fun.
She has come such a long way from the thin little kitten who first arrived, and watching her become
healthy, social, and happy has been incredibly rewarding. Twinkie is ready to be adopted into her
forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
