Rescue:
A Pet Patrol volunteer had been working for years to help stray cats in her area, setting traps and
providing food in hopes of bringing them to safety. While trying to rescue another cat, Willow
suddenly appeared and ran straight toward the trap baited with chicken, clearly hungry and
unaware of what it meant. Thanks to the persistence and dedication of the volunteer, Willow was
given the chance to leave that life behind and come into Pet Patrol’s care. Meanwhile, Kraemer had
been born in a small village where he was living outdoors and receiving meals from a kind woman
in the community. He was eventually rescued, neutered, and meant to move into foster care.
Unfortunately, those plans fell through, leaving the rescuer with an impossible choice: release
Kraemer back outside in harsh winter weather, or find another safe solution. Refusing to release
him and putting him at risk, she kept him warm and secure in a heated garage while reaching out
for help. Pet Patrol was contacted to provide this deserving boy with warmth, safety, and the
chance to continue learning that humans can be kind.
Personality:
Willow and Kraemer are a sweet, easygoing pair who bring double the love and quiet charm to any
home. While both can be a little shy when adjusting to new environments, gentle encouragement
and head scratches quickly reveal their affectionate, playful personalities. Whether they are
greeting you at the door, making biscuits, or flopping over for endless pets, these gentle
companions thrive on quality time with their human friends. As a deeply bonded pair who fell in love
at first sight in foster care, Willow and Kraemer are inseparable, spending their days napping
together, playing chase, and keeping each other company. They are looking for a calm, loving
forever home that will welcome them both together as a package deal and keep them safely
indoors.
