ADOPTION PROFILE

Panamera

Panamera

Panamera

Rescue:

The P family came from a farm just up the road from the Pet Patrol sanctuary. The barn was home
to a variety of animals, with the kittens growing up amongst them. While this may be a common
way of life on a farm, it certainly wasn’t a safe environment for tiny kittens. Pet Patrol initially
received a call saying there were five babies needing help, but when volunteers arrived, they
quickly discovered eight kittens instead—and only three had been secured. Catching the remaining
five turned into quite the rescue mission! Volunteers found themselves lying on the barn floor
amongst manure, reaching underneath wooden skids, and creatively maneuvering through narrow
spaces between enormous bales of straw. A few of the kittens were also suffering from upper
respiratory and eye infections, something that can quickly become serious for kittens so little. One
by one, all eight were finally secured and brought into care with warm beds, proper medical care,
and full bellies.

Personality:

Panamera may be the tiniest of her siblings, but she certainly doesn’t let her size slow her down!
Quick and playful, she can pounce and wrestle with the biggest of them, and she especially loves
little pompom toys that she proudly carries around in her mouth—complete with an adorable growl
if one of her larger siblings tries to steal her prize. Panamera has made wonderful progress in foster
care and is becoming braver every day. While she isn’t a fan of being picked up, she now seeks out
her foster for pets and responds beautifully to slow, quiet movements that help her feel secure. Her
big, curious eyes are always taking everything in as her confidence continues to grow. Panamera
would do best in a home with older, calm children or no children, and could live with a calm dog, as
sudden movements and loud noises can startle her. Panamera is ready to be adopted into her
forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
