Rescue:

Isla and her sister Indra came from a country property where things are done the traditional way.
One morning, Pet Patrol received an urgent call after Indra came screaming out from beneath a
truck as it drove away. She was holding up a back leg and was clearly in significant pain. When
arrangements were made to bring her into care, Isla came too, as the sisters were very attached
and found tremendous comfort in one another. Indra was taken to the veterinarian immediately for
assessment and Xrays while Isla remained close by. Despite the frightening ordeal and sudden
change in surroundings, both girls were incredibly sweet with people and settled into care
remarkably well.

Personality:

Isla is a sweet, gentle girl who shares a very special bond with her sister Indra. When the two
suddenly found themselves leaving the only home they knew, Isla stayed close, cuddling with her
sister and providing familiar comfort through an uncertain time. She is friendly with people, enjoys
affection, and adapted remarkably well to her new surroundings rather than hiding away. Calm,
loving, and easy to handle, Isla has shown what a lovely companion she is. Isla is ready to be
adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
