Rescue:

Octavia’s momma, Oja, had been coming and going on a country property for a few years, and the
people living there often wondered if she had kittens hidden somewhere. One day, she arrived at
the back door with them in tow, as if to say, “Here they are—please help us.” The kittens were in
rough shape, their necks bald, wet, and dirty. It quickly became clear they were suffering from botfly
larva embedded in their skin, leaving them looking sad and unwell. As soon as they arrived at Pet
Patrol, the larvae were carefully removed, and the kittens were given soothing baths and
medication. With proper care and treatment, their health turned around quickly, and soon they
began to thrive, safe at last and free from the painful burden they had been carrying

Personality:

Octavia is a darling with soft splashes of orange scattered throughout her coat, giving her a delicate
and charming look that’s all her own. She has the sweetest temperament and absolutely adores
being close to her people. One of her favorite places to be is nestled in your arms, where she can
be held and cradled like a baby while she purrs contently, soaking in every bit of affection. She’s a
true snuggle bug who will happily spend hours curled up with you. Of course, Octavia has a playful
side too. She loves to romp around with her toys, batting balls across the floor, chasing after little
treasures, and rolling about with endless kitten joy. Her silly antics are guaranteed to bring a smile
to your face, and when she’s all tuckered out, she happily curls up for a cozy nap, often seeking the
warmth of a lap or blanket. Octavia’s gentle, cuddly nature mixed with her fun loving spirit makes
her a wonderful companion who will fill her forever home with joy. She’s ready to find a family who
will love her dearly and keep her safe as an indoor cat.
