Latte

Latte

Latte

Rescue:

Latte was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation where unowned cats had been left to
multiply in unsafe conditions. The property owner rented out two neighbouring houses, and the
buildings were used to store decades worth of belongings. This created an environment where cats
could easily hide and continue reproducing. One tenant became so concerned about the conditions
that she reached out to Pet Patrol for help after having to cover the doorway leading to an
overcrowded storage room attached to her living space. Volunteers initially rescued eight kittens
from the property, but just weeks later another eight kittens were discovered in a shed, showing
how quickly the population had grown. Latte was among the kittens saved from this difficult
beginning. Although he missed out on early socialization, he is now safe in foster care, learning to
trust people and discovering that life can be filled with kindness, comfort, and love.

Personality:

After a very sad and difficult start to life, Latte is finally getting the chance to blossom into the sweet
little kitten he was always meant to be. He is lovable, curious, and incredibly cuddly, with an
easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful companion. Latte has mild cerebellar hypoplasia
(CH), so he appreciates a quieter home where he won’t be overwhelmed by loud noises or too
much commotion. He gets along well with other cats, provided they aren’t too rough with him, and
enjoys playing in tunnels and bouncing around with his foster kitten friends. Dogs don’t bother him
either, as long as they respect his space and don’t chase him. Older, gentle children who
understand how to handle him appropriately would be a good fit too. Latte is a unique little boy who
deserves to be treated like the prince he is—with perhaps just a little extra babying! Give him
comfort, patience, and plenty of love, and he will happily return every bit of it. Latte is ready to be
adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
