Rescue:
Nala’s rescue began with what was supposed to be an ordinary trip to a birthday party. As a young
mother carried her toddler out to the car, she heard the tiny cries of a kitten coming from her
driveway. Unable to ignore the desperate little mews, she searched until she discovered a
frightened calico kitten hiding beneath one of the portable moving pods parked outside her home.
When the woman gently called to her, little Nala came running, clearly relieved to have been found.
It was immediately obvious that something was terribly wrong. Nala had suffered a serious injury to
her lower jaw, leaving the skin torn away from the bone and causing her significant pain. The
woman quickly contacted Pet Patrol for help, and Nala was brought safely into our care. Thanks to
expert veterinary treatment and reconstructive surgery, Nala’s injury healed beautifully, and today
there is barely any sign of the trauma she endured. She is now looking forward to the bright future
she deserves.
Personality:
Nala is an incredibly sweet, affectionate little girl who loves being close to the people she trusts.
She happily accepts being picked up and cuddled and has a gentle, loving personality that makes
her easy to adore. Nala doesn’t enjoy being alone and will often seek out her favourite humans for
snuggles or curl up beside another friendly kitty for comfort and companionship. She also has a
playful side and enjoys spending time with her feline friends once she feels comfortable. One look
at Nala and it’s easy to see just how special she is—her stunning coat is a beautiful patchwork of
orange, black, gold, and auburn, making her as breathtaking on the outside as she is sweet on the
inside. Nala is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
