Rescue:

Lilith journey began in the backyard of a family who had noticed a cat wandering through their
property during the spring. They didn’t think much of it until one day, while taking the lawnmower
out of the shed, they heard tiny squeaks coming from inside. Tucked safely away was a litter of
kittens. It quickly became clear that the mysterious cat was their mother, and the family immediately
began putting out food and fresh water for them. As the kittens grew, they turned the entire
backyard into their own playground, with the trampoline becoming their favourite place to bounce,
chase, and wrestle together. The family also patiently worked on socializing the kittens. Eventually,
they set up a dog crate with food inside to capture the litter and their devoted mother. Thanks to the
family’s kindness and determination, Lilith is now safe in Pet Patrol’s care.

Personality:

Lilith may be the tiniest of her siblings, but this adorable girl has quietly made some very big strides.
Affectionately nicknamed “Squeak” for her occasional tiny mew, Lilith is a gentle observer who
prefers watching the action rather than being right in the middle of it. She has come a long way
from hiding beneath the bed and will now come to the door, peek out from her favourite hiding
spots, and cautiously explore the room. Quick movements or unexpected noises can still send her
scurrying back to safety, but each new bit of confidence is a wonderful step forward. Lilith is
happiest playing quietly on her own and never feels the need to be the centre of attention. She now
allows herself to be picked up and, after taking her time deciding that cuddles might actually be
okay, has finally started purring while being held! Lilith will need a patient family willing to let her
settle in at her own pace, ideally with a friendly feline companion to help her feel secure and give
her confidence. She may always be the kind of girl who quietly stays nearby, happily loafing and
keeping her person company rather than demanding the spotlight—and that is part of her sweet
charm. Lilith is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
