Rescue:

Jae’s story began with the sound of tiny meows on a quiet summer morning. After recently moving
into their home, his rescuer stepped onto the back deck and was surprised to discover several tiny
kitten heads peeking up from beneath it. Unsure whether their mother was still caring for them, she
set up a camera and monitored the little family for several days. Their mother did return at first, and
every effort was made to gain her trust, but after she disappeared for more than twelve hours and
the nights began turning colder, it became clear the kittens needed help. By then, Jae and his
siblings had started venturing out from beneath the deck, climbing onto it and nibbling at the food
left out for their mom. Jae was gently scooped up and brought safely indoors, where he quickly
discovered that people weren’t so scary after all. Before long, he and his siblings had settled into
indoor life and were happily enjoying all the love, warmth, and attention they had been missing.
Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, Jae is ready to find the forever home he deserves.

Personality:

Jae is a handsome grey boy with a gentle, understated charm that will quietly steal your heart. A
little more timid than some of his bolder siblings, Jae likes to take his cues from those around him
and feels most confident when he knows he has someone close by. Once comfortable, he loves
being near his people and will even climb onto your shoulders to hitch a ride and take in the world
from above. While he enjoys the occasional tumble and play session with his siblings, Jae is
equally passionate about finding the warmest, coziest spot in the house for a good snooze. His
sweet nature, quiet devotion, and love of cozy companionship make him an absolute treasure. Jae
is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
