Rescue:
Jellybean’s story began with the sound of tiny meows on a quiet summer morning. After recently
moving into their home, his rescuer stepped onto the back deck and was surprised to discover
several tiny kitten heads peeking up from beneath it. Unsure whether their mother was still caring
for them, she set up a camera and monitored the little family for several days. Their mother did
return at first, and every effort was made to gain her trust, but after she disappeared for more than
twelve hours and the nights began turning colder, it became clear the kittens needed help. By then,
Jellybean and her siblings had started venturing out from beneath the deck, climbing onto it and
nibbling at the food left out for their mom. Jellybean was gently scooped up and brought safely
indoors, where she quickly discovered that people weren’t so scary after all. Before long, she and her
siblings had settled into indoor life and were happily enjoying all the love, warmth, and attention
they had been missing. Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, Jellybean is ready to find the forever home
she deserves.
Personality:
Jellybean easily earns the title of most playful in her litter! This nonstop bundle of joy is always on
the move, bouncing from one toy or adventure to the next. She was the first of her siblings to
master climbing and still loves finding new heights to conquer. One of her funniest signature moves
is standing upright on her hind legs like a tiny meerkat just so she can pounce on the broom while
you’re trying to sweep! Despite all that energy, Jellybean is wonderfully sweet and goodnatured.
She enjoys taking cues from her feline friends and would be especially happy with another active
cat who can keep up with her playful antics. Energetic, entertaining, and endlessly charming,
Jellybean is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
