Rescue:
Jinx’s story began with the sound of tiny meows on a quiet summer morning. After recently moving
into their home, her rescuer stepped onto the back deck and was surprised to discover several tiny
kitten heads peeking up from beneath it. Unsure whether their mother was still caring for them, she
set up a camera and monitored the little family for several days. Their mother did return at first, and
every effort was made to gain her trust, but after she disappeared for more than twelve hours and
the nights began turning colder, it became clear the kittens needed help. By then, Jinx and her
siblings had started venturing out from beneath the deck, climbing onto it and nibbling at the food
left out for their mom. Jinx was gently scooped up and brought safely indoors, where she quickly
discovered that people weren’t so scary after all. Before long, she and her siblings had settled into
indoor life and were happily enjoying all the love, warmth, and attention they had been missing.
Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, Jinx is ready to find the forever home she deserves.
Personality:
Jinx is the brave little girl whose big voice helped bring attention to her and her siblings when they
needed it most. When she was first discovered under the deck, her eyes were so goopy they were
almost sealed shut, but that didn’t stop determined little Jinx from calling out for help. Now
completely healthy, she has blossomed into a funloving kitten with the most wonderfully spunky
personality. Jinx loves chasing plastic springs and makes the cutest little chirping sounds when the
zoomies strike. She’s playful and quirky enough to keep everyone laughing but a little less intense
than some of her wilder siblings, giving her a lovely balance of fun and easygoing sweetness. With
her adorable chirps, funny antics, and resilient little spirit, Jinx is ready to be adopted into her
forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
