Rescue:
Felicity came from a large 50acre farm property where several cottages housed the family’s adult
children. There were many cats living on the property, and the family was working hard to have
them spayed, neutered, or safely rehomed. Felicity had become a favourite of one of the daughters,
who noticed that the friendly young cat was very pregnant and took her into her home so she would
have a safe place to stay. Although Felicity was still allowed to come and go outdoors, it was clear
that her kittens could arrive at any moment. Knowing how quickly farm cat populations can grow
and wanting the best possible future for both Felicity and her babies, the family reached out for
help. Felicity came into Pet Patrol’s care before her kittens were born, ensuring that she would
have a warm, safe place to raise her family and that her kittens would never have to face the
challenges of outdoor life.
Personality:
Felicity is the definition of a gentle soul. This sweet girl was a wonderfully devoted mama, always
keeping a watchful eye on her kittens while caring for them with endless patience. She is incredibly
docile and easygoing, with a calm, loving presence that makes her such a joy to have around.
Felicity likes to quietly follow along with whatever her people are doing, perfectly content simply
being nearby and part of the day. Now that her kittens are weaned and she no longer needs to
hover over them, she has discovered that all that extra time can be spent soaking up attention and
affection for herself. After giving so much love to her babies, Felicity is ready to be the one who is
cherished and cared for. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
