Rescue:
Ace came into Pet Patrol’s care after we received a call from a family living on a traditional farm
tucked away along a quiet gravel road. A long laneway led to two homes and several barns, where
a growing number of friendly cats had made the property their home. Although the family cared
deeply for the cats, they were concerned about the population continuing to grow and wanted to
make sure every cat had the opportunity to live a safe, healthy life. Two Pet Patrol volunteers
visited the farm and were delighted to find happy, social cats that were easy to pick up and handle.
They were healthy, brighteyed, free of colds, and in wonderful body condition—a true reflection of
how well they had been cared for. When Ace arrived at Pet Patrol, the first order of business was
filling a tiny tummy with a good meal before curling up for a long, peaceful nap. It didn’t take long
for Ace to settle in and embrace all the comforts of indoor life. Now safe in our care, Ace is ready to
find a loving forever home.
Personality:
Ace is a true extrovert who approaches life—and everyone he meets—with confidence and
enthusiasm. Outgoing, sociable, and incredibly friendly, he wasted no time welcoming two
unfamiliar kittens into his space as though they had always been friends. Ace is an affectionate and
curious explorer who loves checking out his surroundings and adapts beautifully to new situations.
In fact, he settled into foster life almost immediately, crawling right up his foster’s chest, giving her a
little bop on the chin, and firing up a purr that sounds like thunder. Easygoing, confident, and full of
affection, Ace is the kind of kitten who makes himself right at home and quickly becomes part of the
family. Ace is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family
and keep him safely indoors.
