Rescue:

The D family’s story began on a peaceful hobby farm with rolling fields, horses, fruit trees, and a
long laneway tucked away from the road. She had made the farm her home after arriving from a
neighbouring property, where she was known to be an incredibly friendly cat. When she gave birth
to her kittens in the barn, the family wanted to make sure they all had the opportunity for safe,
loving indoor lives. They reached out to Pet Patrol, and Desi and her little family were welcomed
into our care. As if raising her own kittens wasn’t enough, Desi also opened her heart to an
orphaned kitten named Muffin, lovingly accepting him as one of her own and giving him the comfort
and care every baby deserves.

Personality:

Dupre is an adventurous little guy with a curious mind and a playful spirit. If there’s a box to
investigate, a cupboard to peek inside, or a closet left open, you can count on Dupre to be the first
one there, making sure nothing escapes his inspection. After all that exploring, he’s more than
happy to settle in for some affection. Give him a good back scratch all the way to the base of his tail
and he’ll happily flop over, inviting you to continue with a tummy rub. Dupre loves romping and
wrestling with his foster buddy, Muffin, and would thrive in a home with him or another playful feline
companion who shares his love of adventure. Smart, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining,
Dupre is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
