Dijon

Rescue:

Dulce and her three kittens, Dunkaroo, Dumpling, and Dijon, came to Pet Patrol after a
woman in a small town noticed a petite black cat wandering through her backyard. It quickly
became obvious that the little cat was pregnant. A week or so later, she wasn’t. Before long, the
family discovered kittens tucked away behind a shed, and the neighbourhood children delighted in
quietly visiting and gently handling the babies while their attentive mother watched nearby. But like
any good mama cat, she decided her kittens needed a safer location and promptly moved them.
Before they were finally rescued, Dulce relocated her family three different times. The kittens were
born beneath a tarpcovered shelter and later spent time hidden amongst a woodpile as their
mother did everything she could to keep them protected. Determined to help, the woman enlisted
neighbours throughout the area to search for the evermoving family. While Dulce had done an
incredible job caring for her kittens, everyone knew they deserved the chance to grow up safe,
warm, and loved rather than facing life outdoors. Together, the community helped ensure this
devoted little family made their way into Pet Patrol’s care, where they could begin a brighter future.

Personality:

Dijon is the comedian of the litter, always finding new ways to make everyone smile. This quirky
little guy loves to chatter, grunt, and make the funniest noises as he explores the house in search of
his next adventure. Equal parts playful and affectionate, Dijon is happiest when he’s cuddling with
his people or racing around with his brothers, Dunkaroo and Dumpling. His sweet personality,
endless curiosity, and hilarious antics mean there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. After
overcoming a difficult start to life, Dijon is more than ready to leave the past behind and be
showered with the love he so deserves. Dijon is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
