Abby

Rescue:

Abby’s story is a reminder of how one small moment can change a life forever. Late one evening, a
Pet Patrol volunteer was walking out to collect her mail when she noticed two tiny eyes glowing in
the darkness beside a busy country road. As she got closer, she discovered a frightened little kitten
all alone. There were no other cats, kittens, or people anywhere nearby, leading everyone to
believe Abby had either been abandoned or somehow become separated from her family. Knowing
the dangers she faced, the volunteer gently scooped her up and brought her to safety before
tragedy could strike. Thanks to that chance encounter and one compassionate person who stopped
to help, Abby’s story changed from one of uncertainty to one filled with hope. Now safe in Pet
Patrol’s care, she’s ready to find the loving forever family she has always deserved.

Personality:

Don’t let Abby’s tiny size fool you—this little girl has enough confidence and personality for ten
kittens! Affectionately known as “Abby Tabby,” she is friendly, social, affectionate, and always ready
for her next adventure. From the moment she arrived in foster care, Abby decided she could do
anything the big cats could, quickly becoming the tiny boss of the household. She happily plays
with the resident cats, keeps up with the dog, and gets along beautifully with the other foster
kittens. Whether she’s climbing to the highest perch, tumbling through a playful wrestling match, or
chasing her favourite toys, Abby approaches everything with enthusiasm and curiosity. She has a
joyful spirit that’s impossible not to love, and her affectionate nature means she’s always happy to
stop for cuddles after a busy day of play. Abby has a way of melting hearts the moment you meet
her and would make the perfect addition to an active home with other pets, children, or anyone
looking for a playful, loving companion. Abby is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
