Rescue:
Mr. Meowgi’s story began when a caring woman noticed a friendly cat that had been hanging
around her rural property on the far side of a nearby tourist town. Living in such a remote area, it
quickly became clear that this sweet boy hadn’t simply wandered by. He had been surviving
outdoors for months, and those who knew the area believed he had likely been left behind. Despite
everything he had endured, Mr. Meowgi never lost his trust in people. He greeted everyone he met
with affection and seemed more than ready to leave outdoor life behind. A compassionate coworker
brought him to the attention of one of Pet Patrol’s longtime foster volunteers, who immediately
offered him a safe place to stay until a permanent foster home could be arranged. It was impossible
to believe such a loving, gentle cat had been left to fend for himself for so long. Thanks to the
kindness of the people who refused to overlook him, Mr. Meowgi is now safe in Pet Patrol’s care
and ready to find the forever family he has been waiting for.
Personality:
Mr. Meowgi is an incredibly affectionate boy who clearly knows what it’s like to be part of a loving
family. From the moment you meet him, he’s eager to make friends, greeting people with his
adorable little chirps as if he’s carrying on a conversation. He thrives on human companionship and
is happiest when he’s soaking up pets, cuddles, and attention from his favourite people. Mr.
Meowgi is perfectly content being picked up and carried around, taking it all in stride as long as it
means he gets to spend more time with you. His sweet, easygoing nature and constant desire to be
close make him the kind of cat who quickly becomes a beloved member of the family. Mr. Meowgi
is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
