Rescue:

Pawco’s life changed thanks to the kindness of a truck driver who has made a habit of helping cats
in need wherever his travels take him. While driving along a country highway near a small town, he
spotted a cat slowly walking along the shoulder of the road beneath the hot sun as traffic rushed
past. With little more than open fields and a few scattered buildings nearby, there was no sign of
where Pawco had come from or how long he had been trying to survive on his own. Looking tired
and defeated, Pawco didn’t hesitate when the truck driver stopped to help. Instead, he happily
allowed himself to be picked up, quietly settled into the truck, and seemed relieved to know he was
finally safe. The driver brought him to a woman who runs a small cat rescue—a place where he had
taken many rescued cats over the years. From there, Pawco made his way into Pet Patrol’s care,
where he could finally leave life on the roadside behind.

Personality:

Pawco is an incredibly easygoing, affectionate boy who settled into sanctuary life as though he’d
always belonged there. Despite arriving with several wounds on his body, suggesting he had often
been on the receiving end of fights rather than starting them, Pawco has remained nothing but
gentle and loving. He enjoys being around people, happily curls up in your arms for snuggles, and
has a playful side that shines once he feels comfortable. Whether he’s chasing toys or simply
spending time with his favourite humans, Pawco has a calm, trusting nature that makes him a joy to
be around. Sweet, social, and full of love, Pawco is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
