Aurora

Aurora

Rescue:

About a year ago, a brown tabby cat later named Astra appeared in the backyard of a residential
home with a single kitten, Shiloh, still nursing at her side. Both were shy and a little skittish at first,
but the homeowners began feeding them and slowly earned their trust. Over time, Astra and her
kitten became quite friendly, and a heated outdoor shelter was set up to help them endure what felt
like an endless winter. As spring approached, it became clear that Astra was pregnant again, and
the family knew she needed a safe place to have her kittens. She was brought into Pet Patrol’s
care, where her calm and gentle nature quickly showed, and less than 24 hours later she gave birth
to four kittens. About a week later, her daughter Shiloh—who had been a bit more elusive—was
also safely brought in, and the two were happily reunited in the warmth and safety of the sanctuary.

Personality:

Aurora is an easygoing, affectionate kitten who loves being part of whatever is happening around
her. She enjoys being picked up and carried around and is always happy to soak up attention from
her people. Like any growing kitten, Aurora has plenty of energy and can often be found zooming
through tunnels, climbing cat trees, batting toys across the room, and chasing her siblings during
her morning and evening bursts of excitement. Once she’s tired herself out, she loves curling up
with her siblings in a cozy bed, cat cave, or soft blanket for a wellearned nap. Sweet, playful, and
adaptable, Aurora is a wonderful combination of fun and cuddles. Aurora is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
