Rescue:

Boba was found in a neighbourhood bordering a busy public park, where cats from nearby farms
often wander in search of food and shelter. The area, while full of activity with families, playgrounds,
and open green space, can be a dangerous place for stray cats, especially with predators nearby
and limited protection from the elements. Concerned residents began noticing the growing number
of cats and the condition some were in, and a Pet Patrol volunteer stepped in to help. During the
rescue efforts, Boba was safely trapped and brought into care. As a long­haired cat living outdoors,
he had become severely matted and uncomfortable, requiring a full shave after his neuter just to
move properly again. Having had little to no human interaction before, Boba is still learning to trust,
but with time, patience, and care, he continues to make steady progress.

Personality:

Boba is a quiet, thoughtful boy who is still learning that indoor life can be safe and comfortable. He
enjoys the company of other cats and can often be found curled up in a basket by the window,
carefully observing everything happening around the sanctuary. Watching visitors come and go
from his favourite perch is one of his favourite pastimes, second only to relaxing in the sunshine of
the cat enclosure. While he can be shy around people, a Churu treat goes a long way toward
winning his trust. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys gentle head scratches and ear rubs and
shows glimpses of the sweet cat he is becoming. Boba will need a patient adopter willing to let him
settle in at his own pace, but for someone willing to give him that chance, he has so much potential.
Boba is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
