Chanel

Rescue:

Pet Patrol was contacted by a couple living in a small village just outside the city after they heard a
cat crying at their door. It was a late, cold and wet night. She was clearly hungry and stressed, and
while they wanted to help, they weren’t able to bring her inside due to their own pets. The man
placed her in his car to keep her warm while they waited for help, but when the door was opened,
she bolted back outside. They then reaching out to Pet Patrol, they were reassured she would likely
return—and she did. Food and water were set out, and she was safely brought into care the
following day. Once at the sanctuary, it was discovered she had a microchip, but despite repeated
attempts, her owner never responded. After consulting with the local city shelter and allowing a
reasonable amount of time, Chanel was cleared for adoption, marking the beginning of her new life.

Personality:

Chanel is a sweet, calm, and easygoing girl who has adjusted beautifully to indoor life at the
sanctuary. It’s clear she was once a wellloved house cat, and her time outdoors did not suit her.
She enjoys relaxing in cozy beds, gazing out the window, and engaging in gentle play with her toys.
Chanel is affectionate and trusting, happy to be picked up, carried, and loved by her people. With
her striking coat, bold markings, and warm personality, she is a truly lovely companion who will
bring comfort and companionship to her forever home. Chanel is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
