Rescue:
Pet Patrol receives many emails each day, but one message stood out. A single mother raising five
children reached out looking for help rehoming several of her cats. She was doing the best she
could, but after taking in a couple of female cats that continued to have litters, the number of cats in
her home had grown to nine. Wanting the best future for them, she made the difficult decision to
ask for help. Simba was one of the first cats to come into Pet Patrol’s care alongside Spencer, while
the remaining cats—Lucas, Marcus, Kendall, Lexi, and Blue—would follow soon after. Now Simba
has the chance to find a loving home where he can thrive.
Personality:
Simba is a sensitive and thoughtful boy who bonds closely with his people. Having only lived in a
quiet onebedroom home, he is most comfortable in a calm environment. He can be cautious with
new people and would do best in a quieter household where he can take his time to settle in. Once
he feels secure, Simba forms deep connections and enjoys affection on his own terms. He has
never lived with dogs and has only known life with his brother, so a peaceful home will help him
thrive. Simba is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
