Penny

Rescue:

Penny, a pretty Torti cat, was born outside last summer to a mother cat, and had several
siblings. One kind man took it upon himself to feed them and create a shelter, and make
sure they were ok. He was looking into rescue organizations to help bring them inside to
safety when suddenly the kittens disappeared, then the mother cat disappeared. We think
they were rescued, as they don’t all generally leave so suddenly unless chased away. Only
Penny was left behind and she was not sure about being rescued, so the man continued to
care for her like he had her mother. Not being spayed Penny had her own litter of three
kittens this year and not wanting them to grow up outside, he contacted Pet Patrol. This
feline family were healthy, bright and had no health concerns when they came in. They are
a treasure to have in our care.

Personality:

Penny is new to living indoors, but has adjusted very well. She has all the comforts a kitty
would need, and more with her foster home. When you pet her she purrs and flops over on
her side, wiggles around and seems happy. She is exploring her new environment and is
very good with her people. Playing with toys is new to her, as she may never have had the
opportunity to chase, carefree, after a bouncing ball or wiggling toy at the end of a wand.
To watch her interact with people at play time is fun. Penny is affectionate and sweet, she is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors
