Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a message from a caseworker who was helping one of her clients rehome
several cats. The home was located in a busy area of townhouses and apartment buildings, and
while the cats were gently handled by children and accustomed to living with other cats, there were
simply too many. What initially sounded like a small group in need turned out to be a lovely mother
cat, Kailani, and her teenage kittens—Kaipo, Kiola, and Kielee. To prevent any further litters, the
family had been responsibly separated to the basement, away from an unneutered male cat in the
home. While this was a thoughtful step, it meant they were missing out on the interaction and
enrichment of a full household. When they arrived in Pet Patrol’s care, they quickly showed just
how sweet, gentle, and friendly they are, ready to experience a more enriched life and find loving
homes of their own.
Personality:
Kaipo is a friendly and playful boy who brings a fun, easygoing energy wherever he goes. He
enjoys being around his people and is always happy to join in on whatever is happening, whether
that’s playtime or just keeping you company throughout the day. Kaipo loves chasing toys, batting
things around, and showing off his playful side, but he also has a sweet, affectionate nature and
enjoys attention and pets. He has a nice balance of energy and companionship, making him a
great fit for a home looking for both fun and affection. With his warm personality and playful spirit,
Kaipo is a wonderful companion who quickly makes himself right at home. Kaipo is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
