Rescue:

Stripes and Solaire came to Pet Patrol after one of our volunteers received a message from a friend
urgently trying to rehome the pair. The two cats, both about two years old and strictly indoor
companions, had been living with a couple who were preparing to move and were unable to take
them along. They attempted to contact the person who had originally owned the cats, but that
individual had already moved away and never responded. With no stable plan for their future, help
was needed quickly. Wanting the best for these lovely cats, arrangements were made for Stripes
and Solaire to come into Pet Patrol’s care so they could find the dependable, permanent home they
deserve together.

Personality:

Solaire & Stripes are a bonded brother/­sister duo who perfectly balance playful energy with cozy
affection. Solaire, the gorgeous sister with her big expressive eyes, likes to carefully investigate her
surroundings before fully relaxing. Once she feels safe and secure, she stretches out for long
cuddle sessions and will purr endlessly as you pet her. She adores attention and blossoms
beautifully with affection. Stripes is an absolute cuddle bug and certified mushpot—this big boy
loves ripping around the house in full zoomie mode before settling in on the couch for snuggles on
a soft blanket. Foam balls and feather toys are his favourites, and he happily leans into head
scratches and chin rubs. While he can be independent at times, he truly enjoys interacting with his
humans. Together, they bring both fun and comfort and would love to continue life side by side.
Solaire & Stripes are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into
the family and keep them safely indoors.
