Rescue:
Dorian’s story began in a small village, where a calico mother cat was often seen traveling from a
nearby dairy farm into town in search of food. In mid to late summer, she arrived with three kittens,
teaching them where to find scraps near the general store and seasonal food truck. A kind man
working part time at the store noticed the family during his daily routines and, while their mother
kept her distance, he was able to earn the trust of two small male kittens. Dorian was one of them.
Wanting to keep her safe, the man brought her home, but soon realized he was in over his head.
With limited income, unaltered resident cats, and no access to affordable veterinary care, he
struggled to meet everyone’s needs. When he could no longer manage alone, help was sought,
and Pet Patrol stepped in. Dorian remained in care until space opened in rescue, giving her the
chance to move toward safety, stability, and a brighter future.
Personality:
Dorian is a gentle, affectionate boy who simply loves love. When you hold him, he’ll rest his head
on your shoulder and melt into the snuggles, soaking up every bit of attention. His sweet nature
pairs beautifully with his unique champagnecoloured coat that gives him an almost rosegold glow.
Dorian enjoys playful bursts of energy, especially chasing springs around the house with a kitten
friend. He would truly thrive in a home with another cat and would happily be adopted with one of
his buddies—Demi, Durante, or Nigel. After an active morning of zooming and play, he’s content to
spend the afternoon cuddled up on a soft blanket with a feline companion or close to his person.
Dorian may need a little time to feel safe when meeting someone new, but once he does, he
eagerly leans into gentle pets and snuggles. Dorian is ready to be adopted into his forever home.
One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
