Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a young woman who had taken in a lovely mother cat, Sahara, from a
friend after learning she had never been spayed and was already pregnant. Wanting to give her a
safe place to land, the woman welcomed the cat into her home, where all four kittens were born
into a healthy, loving environment and cared for unconditionally from day one. While she initially
hoped to keep the entire little family, she soon realized that this wasn’t the right time in her life to
take on the long term responsibility of five cats, especially with future veterinary care ahead.
Wanting the very best for the kittens, she reached out to Pet Patrol for help. With care and
thoughtfulness, she ensured that Sahara and her kittens would have the opportunity to find loving
forever homes, setting them up for bright, secure futures.
Personality:
Sahara is a sweet girl looking for a home that will treat her like the royalty she is, as this mama has
graduated from raising her nowgrown kittens and is ready to relax. She is calm and goodnatured,
often expressing her happiness through chirps, trills, and purrs. Her vocality makes her easy to
read and easy to get along with! Sahara also has a playful bside she’s still young after all. Feather
wands are her favourite, as she loves interactive toys that mean she’s the centre of her human’s
attention. And when she’s tired, she cuddles up at the top of her cat tree to survey her kingdom.
Sahara would do best in a quiter home without children or other pets. This queen is ready for a
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
