Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a phone call in late fall when Geisha gave birth to three kittens. The woman
caring for her explained that Geisha had an insulated, heated cat house on her front porch and was
well known and friendly within the neighbourhood. This was Geisha’s second litter, and while
bringing the family into care was discussed early on, the woman felt they would manage outdoors.
Pet Patrol encouraged moving them into the garage so they could at least be protected from the
wind while still using their heated shelter. Weeks passed, and it wasn’t until the kittens were around
ten weeks old that the call finally came. By then, Geisha and her babies had endured over two
months of a brutal winter—facing wind, rain, freezing temperatures, and deep snow. Unfortunately,
the kittens had very limited human handling during that time, meaning socialization would take
patience and time. Through it all, Geisha remained her happy, easygoing self, and once in care,
this little family could finally begin a safer chapter with the support they needed.
Personality:
Goji is the little gentleman of the litter, always mindful of his two sisters as they wrestle and play
around him. He seems to instinctively know he needs to be gentle with his tiny siblings, and that
sweet nature shines through in everything he does. Goji absolutely loves body scratches and will
start purring instantly when you find just the right spot. Feather wand toys are his favourite, and
he’s always happy to join in on playtime before settling in for a cozy cat nap—often on his favourite
window perch where he can watch the world go by. Goji would thrive in a loving home filled with
snuggles, playtime, and plenty of affection, where he can continue learning just how wonderful life
can be. This sweet little man truly deserves to be adored. Goji is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
