Rescue:
Pet Patrol had previously worked with a woman who rescued a young cat from her backyard and went on to adopt her after managing several medical challenges. In the fall of 2025, another sweet female cat appeared in her yard, limping and in need of help. The woman quickly brought her to the veterinarian, where the injury was deemed nonserious. What wasn’t expected was that the cat was only days away from giving birth. The following day, she safely delivered seven kittens inside the home. Draya and Desta were two of those kittens. Raised with love, warmth, and careful attention, the kittens thrived over the next three months. Though it wasn’t easy to let them go, the woman brought them into Pet Patrol’s care so they could continue their journey toward finding forever families of their own.
Personality:
Draya and Desta are two sweet kittens with very similar, gentle personalities. Both are a little on the quiet side at first, but with time and familiarity, they begin to warm up and show their soft, affectionate nature. They aren’t overly active, preferring calm exploration and cozy play, but they do enjoy batting spring and ball toys around and racing through the tunnel together. Most often, you’ll find them cuddled up side by side or peacefully napping in or on the cat tree. With patience and a loving environment, Draya and Desta will blossom into wonderful companions who bring quiet joy and comfort to a home. Draya and Desta are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
