Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who found herself overwhelmed after trying to do the right thing for several cats in need. Earlier in the summer, she had rescued two kittens, Birch and Beacon, who had been living outside, and brought them safely into her home. Around the same time, another female cat appeared at her door, and the woman welcomed her inside so she could safely give birth to three kittens: Braya, Boden, and Blane. All five kittens were raised indoors with kindness, affection, play, and care, but despite her efforts, the woman was unable to find homes for them. As the number of cats grew, a family member in the home began struggling with the constant activity, and it became clear she could no longer manage on her own. Wanting the best for them all, she reached out to Pet Patrol for help, ensuring this little family could move forward toward safe, stable futures.
Personality:
Birch is always up for attention. He sometimes has to find his confidence before approaching for snuggle time, but loves pets once he’s comfortable. He is the master of slow blinks to encourage you to keep the petting going. Birch is the companion who will curl up with you while you work or watch TV. He’s a mellow boy who wants to bask in the joy of togetherness. When he can’t find you, he looks for his feline friends to keep him company and would thrive in a home with other cats. Birch is ready to find his forever home. One what will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
