Rescue:
Pet Patrol became acquainted with a woman the year before after she rescued a young cat from her backyard. Despite the cat having multiple medical issues, the woman and her partner chose to adopt her, and she went on to do very well in their care. In the fall of 2025, the woman noticed another sweet female cat in her backyard, this time limping and clearly in need of help. She acted immediately, bringing the cat to the veterinarian, where she was told the injury was not serious and would heal with time. What no one realized at first was that the cat was only days away from giving birth. The very next day, she delivered seven kittens safely inside the woman’s home. One of those kittens was Daxel. The woman lovingly raised the kittens until they were three months old, then brought them into Pet Patrol’s care so they could find forever homes.
Personality:
Daxel is a sweet, curious, and active kitten with beautifully soft, medium length fur. He loves playing with his siblings and is always on the move—batting around balls and spring toys, climbing cat towers, and exploring everything in sight. Daxel is often the first to greet you and happily leans in for pets, tummy rubs, and snuggles. He’s becoming more comfortable being picked up and handled, and his affectionate nature continues to grow. When playtime winds down, Daxel enjoys curling up beside his siblings, especially his brother Deyton, stretching out on cozy blankets, or settling into a comfy cat bed for a nap. Daxel is ready to be adopted into his forever home with his brother Deyton. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
