Mayhem

Rescue:

A message was sent to one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers explaining that a mother cat had been found
under a tarp with two newborn kittens. The woman believed the mother had been dumped, as she
had suddenly appeared on the property and was thin, frightened, and trying to protect her tiny
babies. The family brought the cats inside, provided warmth, food, and safety, and committed to
caring for them until the kittens were old enough to leave their mom. They asked Pet Patrol if we
could step in when the time came — to have them vetted, spayed and neutered, and eventually find
them loving adoptive homes. The kittens, later named Mischief, Mayhem, and Marley, began their
first weeks of life in a safe space rather than out in the elements, and now that they are older,
healthy, and ready for the next step, they have come into Pet Patrol care to begin their journey
toward forever homes where they will never again be left to fend for themselves.

Personality:

Mayhem is a sweet little grey girl with a personality as adorable as her name is bold. She has the
cutest chirp — a tiny sound somewhere between a monkey and a little bird — that she uses when
she wants your attention. It’s impossible not to smile when she calls out, because she truly just
loves being close to her people. She adores belly rubs, gentle cuddles, and being held snug
against your chest. When she’s not soaking up affection, Mayhem is full of playful energy. She gets
the funniest zoomies, racing around with all the joy and curiosity of a happy kitten. After her
adventures, she’s quick to curl up for a cozy nap, often choosing a warm lap or soft blanket.
Mayhem is the perfect mix of spirited playfulness and loving sweetness, and she will make a
wonderful companion for anyone looking for a cheerful, affectionate kitten. She will thrive in a safe,
indooronly home where she can grow, explore, and stay protected.
