Rescue:
There is a man who lives in the country, not far from farms but isolated enough that his nearest
neighbours are miles away. He is a kindhearted person who feeds the stray cats that show up on
his property, but without a barn and only a small shed for shelter, he cannot keep them indoors.
Whether due to cost or because the cats disappear before he can catch them, not many get spayed
or neutered. Over the years, Pet Patrol has assisted him several times with space and rehoming
cats when he reaches out for help. Sadly, cats and kittens are continuously dumped in rural areas
and many are born outside because people do not fix their animals. This particular group — born in
early spring — were extremely friendly, very affectionate, and always trying to come inside.
Knowing he could not provide proper indoor homes for them, he reached out again so they would
have a chance at safety, veterinary care, and forever homes. Lex and Lang, and Lyric and Lyla are
now in Pet Patrol care.
Personality:
Lyric and Lyla are gentle, affectionate girls with soft temperaments and sweet manners. They enjoy
attention but prefer a calm approach — once you sit with them or speak softly, they come forward,
lean in, and soak up gentle pets. They enjoy toys too, but tend to observe first before joining in,
letting their curiosity grow at their own pace. They nap close together, groom each other, and find
comfort in their bond — and are happiest when they have each other for confidence and
companionship. Lyric and Lyla are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
