Rescue:
Percy was brought to Pet Patrol’s attention through a small rescue organization that often receives
more calls for help than they have space to accommodate. One of those calls was about Percy, a
friendly cat who had shown up on a country property north of a small town. He had scabs on his
head from being attacked, but they healed quickly, and even while injured he remained gentle and
eager for affection. It was clear he had once been a house cat—he desperately wanted to be inside
and had no skills for surviving outdoors. The people who found him kept him safely in their garage,
hoping someone online would recognize or claim him, but as the colder weather set in and no one
responded to their posts, they reached out to the smaller rescue for help. Knowing Percy deserved
better than facing winter alone, the group contacted Pet Patrol, and he was soon brought into care
where he could finally be warm, safe, and loved.
Personality:
Percy is a very sweet, gentle boy with a calm and easygoing nature. He enjoys quiet affection,
appreciates soft pets, and settles comfortably into any cozy space offered to him. Friendly and
goodnatured, he loves being around people and is grateful for every bit of kindness he receives.
Percy is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
